The European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) promotes scientific co-operation in Europe between engineers and scientists in order further advance the development of chemical engineering.
The Working Party on Mixing deals with divers topics, including single phase mixing, gas-liquid mixing, solid-liquid mixing, liquid-liquid mixing, gas-liquid-solid mixing, reactive mixing, stirred tanks, static mixers and high-shear mixing devices, at both fundamental and industrially applied levels.
The objectives of the WP on Mixing are
Special sessions devoted to mixing in national, as well as international conferences on chemical engineering have existed since the 1950s. Later, recurrent demands in mixing research and development in the chemical and food industries gave rise to specialized mixing conferences in the 1970s. Read more
